Meet the Team

Red Cell UX is where game passion meets insight. Hosted by Kelly, a UX design manager focused on player experience, and Clayton, the resident game teacher, the podcast dives into tabletop games with curiousity, humor, and fun. Each episode breaks down games — from solo campaigns to war games — so listerners can understand what makes them engaging and accessible. Our mission is to make the world of tabletop gaming approachable, enjoyable, and full of insights for every kind of gamer.

  • Our resident designer and problem-solver, with a talent for turning complex ideas into something approachable and fun. As a UX design manager she brings curiosity, creativity, and just the right amount of overthinking to every conversation. She also loves play testing, diving into new games, and exploring the details that shape the user experience. Basically, she’s the “extra” half of the show — making sure there is a list for everything.

  • Our resident game teacher and researcher — the one who actually reads the rules (and knows who designed them). From solo games, to co ops, to epic battles, he brings sharp insights, endless knowledge of mechanics, and a knack for making every conversation about gaming fun regardless of your experience on the topic. Basically, he’s the smart and funny part of the show.
